Lindsey Buckman, PsyD



Lindsey R. Buckman, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Phoenix, Arizona.

As a graduate of Pepperdine University specializing in clinical psychology, she serves a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are chronic illness, compulsive/addictive eating behaviors, peak performance, relationship issues, sexual orientation and gender issues, and third party reproduction assessments.

In addition to being a well respected therapist, Dr. Buckman has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of working with difficult trainees, the psychological impact of corporal punishment, treating survivors of childhood sexual abuse, the ethical treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals, leadership, political advocacy, and marketing strategies for psychologists in independent practice.

Dr. Buckman is an interactive, collaborative psychologist drawing from a variety of theoretical orientations and skill sets. Her therapeutic approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
